Grant on Stage

Grab a tub of popcorn, sit back and enjoy! Grant's stage debut is officially on the internet (oh my!). The entire play is about an hour or so. If you want to speed through, he shows up about 24 min in, again at 50ish min, and at the end at 57 min.

We'll put some pics on the blog in a couple days. Have fun watching the prince – we always knew he was one. Ha!

Where we spend our day

This is a great video that was just posted by one of our teachers.  It is a fly over of the Pudong campus.  This is where Kelly and Grant spend their week days.  I'm there three out of five days.  And as much as you hear about weather in Shanghai being bad, we see many days that look like this, today being one of them.

Mr Science

A few photos from Grant's science class.  I'm sure he got the pyro thing from me.  This is the safe lighting procedure in 6th grade science labs.

MS Band Performance

Thursday was Grant's first Middle School band performance.  They have been working all year on many songs and this was three of their favorites.

They all looked so handsome in their matching tailored outfits.
Great Grandpa Williams would be so happy of this one.  Grant is now using the 1937 trombone that Len Williams, Richard Williams, and Mark Hevland each played.  He practices with it at home and brought it in for the special performance.

Not only did they play as an individual band but they also did a group performance with all the Middle School band members and the band Abacu5.  It was a pretty cool show.
