Fun things before we go

We attended an AWESOME concert last night featuring our very own "BroBoma" on the electric guitar playing with his band the "She Bears".  This was the finale to a week long Ultimate Band Experience camp hosted by our guitar teacher Matt Tate.  It was Rock'n!!!!

Wrapping things up before we leave

15 more days to go.  This weekend is our Bon Voyage party at the Raccoon lodge on Sunday.  We can't wait to see all of our friends.  Speaking of our friends, the Arnolds leave for their adventure in Singapore on Monday. Not sure how we will be holding up with two days to go, but we will see.
Not only is this our cool iPhone count down timer but it is a picture of our new apartment building

More stuff

So after the stuff we needed shipped left it was time to clear out more.  And oh my there was still a ton.  It didn't help that I had to have shoulder surgery to fix a work related injury but we had tons of help and got almost everything boxed up in one day.  Then last weekend was a two day garage sale where we made a ton of dough and got rid of 90% of the stuff.

Whats been going on??

  • Paper work.  Lots of it.  We have been filling out school registration forms for Grant (He will be attending third grade at Chadwick).  Visa applications, Medical forms.
  • Rent the house-  Which we have done
  • Ship our belongings.  It will take 5-6 weeks for our stuff to arrive.  So on June 27th the movers arrived.  After about 8 hours all our stuff was in the truck heading to the shipping yard.  Hope we see it again.

Why

Back in February Kelly and I attended an International Job Fair in San Francisco.  After three long days and five different interviews Kelly accepted a position teaching first grade at Chadwick International school.  The school is located in the International Business District of Songdo, which is a suburb of Incheon on the west coast of South Korea just south of Seoul.
