Museum at Chadwick

The fourth grade classes have been working for weeks on a museum project related to ancient architecture.  Today was opening day and Grant's team did a great job.

Frozen pond

It finally warmed up enough to get outside. Grant and Finn were very excited once we made it to the big park with the pond. The pond has been frozen for over a month and they wanted to "walk on the fish" to the island. Success, no body fell through.

Another first

So we are back in Korea after a great vacation in Thailand. I had to take a friend to the Mechanic today and ran into a new "First". There are always people greeting you when you arrive at businesses here but this one takes the cake.

Diving in Thailand

Went diving today (well it was today when I tried to post the first time) while Kelly and Grant hung at the pool and did a bit of exploring.

I did a 47 min, 16.3 meter dive at Bida Nok and a 49 min, 16.2 meter one at Hua Saket. Water temp was 30 Celsius. Saw a Giant Moray eel, banded sea krait, giant trevally (biggest my guide said he ever saw) and the best of all an octopus. His mantel was the size of a basketball. Even got to see his skin change colors and camoflauge himself. It was incredible.
