Working

Week two back in the states and I have headed off to Miami FL. Shanghai American School asked me to attend a 2 day seminar here for my new position. We love Alaska Air and their companion ticket because Kelly got to come as my chaperon. We left Grant with the grandparents and headed out Thursday night. Day one here has been some really hard work.

Our hotel (Turnberry Isle) with me hard at work.

Grueling classwork

Terrible surroundings.

Oh yeah, class starts tomorrow. We are enjoying the sun while I can.

Last day in Korea

Today is the day. We leave for Portland in 8 1/2 hours.

One of our tasks yesterday was for Grant to release his red cherry shrimp and pond snail from their glass jar ecosystem. We took them to the pond at Micheul Park next to Well County yesterday. What a cool ecosystem lesson it was.

See everyone in P Town soon

Blue belt

Two more sleeps and then we head back to Portland.

Tonight was Grant's last Taekwondo lesson. Kelly and I are so proud of him for putting so much effort into it. And we are very excited that he came home with his blue belt. Way to go Grant. See everyone soon.
